Insulation of buildings is an eternal question in construction. Insulation technologies are constantly improving, and new ones keep emerging. Many types of traditional insulation are associated with health risks and harmful impacts on the environment. An alternative to traditional forms of insulation is provided by natural insulation. The current trend of returning to natural and ecological materials represents high-quality insulation made from technical hemp - CANABEST. This natural fiber material has comparable thermal insulation properties to mineral insulation, while its advantages include more pronounced summer thermal protection due to high heat accumulation capacity, a unique ability to regulate humidity, and a more favorable ecological balance. Thanks to hemp insulation, the house "breathes," dispelling moisture, thus creating a healthy environment and good microclimate with natural protection against mold, bacteria, and other allergens. Resistance to pest attack and non-susceptibility to rotting is also a given property. Builders who have embraced healthy living as part of their lifestyle will find a comprehensive offer of insulation boards and mats for the insulation of roofs, ceilings, and floors on the market. All are manufactured according to the highest quality standards and are fully certified.
CANABEST PANEL IN CONTACT INSULATION SYSTEM CANABEST PANEL thermal insulation boards are made from hemp fiber with a high proportion of shives and a small admixture of binding two-component fibers. They are manufactured using pneumatic mat forming method, pressing, and are formatted at the end of the production line after thermal processing. Their use is suitable for facades and floors as thermal and sound insulation.

The application of the contact insulation system with hemp insulation does not differ technologically from commonly used systems. It is glued and anchored to a solid substrate of walls. A sealant, mesh, primer, plaster, and coating are subsequently applied to the boards. Gluing is usually conducted by applying adhesive around the perimeter and to 2 points in the center of the board, or over the entire surface. The boards must be mechanically anchored with 6 pcs of disc anchors per m².
Capatect ECO-Line Insulation System Using CANABEST PANEL hemp insulation boards, CAPAROL has developed and certified a contact insulation system under the name Capatect ECO LINE. The insulation system is included among the standard systems offered in the Caparol catalog. ECO-LINE is thus an insulation system made exclusively from biological and mineral components. The insulating material from a 100% renewable source of industrial hemp, mineral sealants, and mineral modified plasters guarantees insulation for exterior walls that maximally conserves the environment. The insulating mass is fixed to the masonry with a special adhesive and anchored with plugs. It is then completely covered with sealant, reinforced with fiberglass material, and again covered with sealant. The top layer consists of tinted plaster.
CANABEST hemp insulation meets the criteria of the Green Savings program. All products are registered in the list of products and technologies (SVT) of the state environment fund's Green Savings subsidy program under the designations CANABEST BASIC, PLUS, and PANEL.
