The Prague building Main Point Karlin won the prestigious MIPIM Awards and was declared the best office building in the world. In Prague, on Rohanské nábřeží, the building was created according to the design of the architectural firm DaM. This is the first time in history that a Czech project has won this prestigious competition, which this year featured more than one hundred projects from 47 countries around the world.
The ten-story distinctive, rounded building offers 22,000 m² of office space. Significant contribution of daylight is provided by large glazing with floor-to-ceiling French windows. Zumtobel Lighting s.r.o. has been involved from the beginning in the comprehensive design of the lighting solution for this environmentally sustainable building and is currently implementing the lighting supply. Zumtobel downlight PANOS INFINITY fixtures will be in the restaurant and SUPERSYSTEM LED spots in the art gallery. The lighting solution in the gallery is managed by the lighting management system, LUXMATE EMOTION.
The fixtures and lighting management from Zumtobel in the Main Point Karlin building become part of another significant landmark in Prague.
