What are you currently working on?
Right now, I am preparing studies for two restaurants in Iraq: a Spanish tapas bar and an Asian fusion restaurant. Public spaces, gastronomy, and retail are areas that excite me immensely, especially these early steps when the overall concept, color scheme, materials, and layout solutions are devised. Additionally, I am working on the reconstruction of two private apartments in Prague and Olomouc, a house in nature near Brno, a painter's studio below Prague Castle, and a small music studio in Paris.

What role do you think a switch plays in an interior?
In my work, I like to pay attention to details, which I combine with more expansive free spaces, and one of the most significant for me is the switch. People often don’t realize how many times a day they use switches, or how a nice detail like an original switch can pleasantly surprise a guest in your café.

Do you have a favorite among household switches?
Personally, I really like the Berker 1930, which I used in black Bakelite in the entire hostel and café Long Story Short, recently opened in the center of Olomouc. Although it is a design from 1930 and comes from the aesthetics of functionalism, its round shape is timeless and works great in this historic building. At the same time, thanks to the rotary switch, it is something that every visitor will definitely notice.

In my projects, I like to work with a storytelling and metaphorical approach. I create the atmosphere of the space, where I seek stories and create new experiences. I do not work as a traditional architect - I intuitively work with feelings and emotions, through friendly communication with clients and the specific requirements that the project needs. My recent projects include public spaces of cafés, hostels, restaurants, reception lobbies, exhibition displays, showcases, or residential projects.
