Evolution of Design

The company RAVAK gave a chance to the new Czech talent MgA. Kryštof Nosál six years ago, and from this collaboration, the harmonious bathroom unit Evolution was created, which has shone on the design horizon. Its evolution continues, and it currently welcomes additional components. In addition to the now-famous Evolution bathtub, the assortment has newly added a sink and bathroom cabinets.

The Evolution bathtub, a key component of the Evolution bathroom unit, was inspired by nature's most harmonious shape - the ellipse. Life emerges from the rounded shape of the ellipse; we come from an egg, and curled up in an egg, we are born; for the rest of our lives, we feel safe that way. The same emotions are evoked by bathing in the Evolution bathtub. "With its dimensions of 180 x 102 cm, it belongs to the larger bathtubs on the market. Compared to completely standalone bathtubs, it is much more versatile. It elevates an average bathroom to a higher level, and in a large bathroom, it appears dignified. Evolution has its character; it is dominant, yet it can communicate with its surroundings," says the designer Kryštof Nosál about the design.

A typical characteristic of the Evolution bathtub is its rounded curves that literally "flow," just like dripping drops of water. The absence of sharp edges, distracting details, and compact shapes makes the bathtub a place of safety and tranquility. In the RAVAK product line, the bathtub has shone like a "star," but it hasn't dimmed; it has become a classic, and more and more customers are reaching for it. "People here are starting to have taste. World trends have spilled over to us across borders; investors have already accepted the bathroom as an intrinsic part of the apartment and are willing to invest more money into it," adds Kryštof Nosál.

The designer thought through the design of Evolution so that it could be further developed and offered a cohesive solution that the company RAVAK focuses on. The Evolution bathtub is characterized by a unique expression that other products should not compete with but should complement instead. A new addition to the assortment is a sink made of cast marble, symbolizing the continuation of the bathroom "evolution." The original shape of the front rim of the sink complements the aesthetic resonance of the bathtub, and the clean, defined edges offered by the cast material, in contrast to ceramics, allow for the placement of two sinks side by side. The sink can be used in the bathroom independently or with two types of cabinets.

Just as in nature, only the strongest and most thought-out organism survives, the Evolution system has proven not only its viability through its simple expression with its own opinion but also a further shift in bathroom design.

The Evolution bathtub is large at 180 x 102 cm and costs CZK 13,950 including VAT. The Evolution sink in a size of 70 cm costs CZK 6,990, and the price of the cabinet is either CZK 3,490 or CZK 6,490 depending on the equipment.
