On Wednesday, October 18, 2017, at 5:00 PM, there will be a lecture at the "Pavlák" in Plzeň about the set designer of Voskovec and Werich's films, as well as a significant collaborator of the "father of modern architecture," Adolf Loos, Rudolf Wels. Rudolf Wels, collaborator of Adolf Loos in western Bohemia. Lecturer: Ing. Michael Rund, director of the museum in Sokolov The lecture will present the personality of architect Rudolf Wels, who was one of the Plzeň and western Bohemian collaborators of the "father of modern architecture" - Adolf Loos. He also worked as a film architect, creating scenes for films such as "Hej Rup! (Voskovec, Werich), Tři kroky od těla, Žena, která ví co chce." The architect's family had its roots in the Plzeň region, specifically in Osek near Rokycany.
