Galerie VI PER Vás invites you to the second lecture from the year-round series dedicated to architectural studies from Milan.
The garden can bring distant times closer in a colorful present, connecting geological times with the gentle fall of a magnolia petal. Similarly, it constructs metaphors of distant places, which find their meaning in the feeling of belonging as wide as the imagination of those who inhabit it. It captures the reasons for water flowing above and below the earth, hidden in invisible rivers or reflecting in a fountain. It tells stories of domestic pleasure and sublime mystery, aiming to bring things and people closer to their own nature, their own home.
Rebediani Scaccabarozzi Landscapes (RSL) is an architectural office founded by Lorenzo Rebediani and Vera Scaccabarozzi in Milan. The studio deals with the complex intertwining of processes that define the landscape. Their gardens strive to be living systems capable of growing and evolving alongside the people who live in them. Their projects range from private gardens to community environments, experimental cultural projects, and museum landscapes. Recent projects include the gardens of the House for Contemporary Art, Design, and Architecture Z33 in Hasselt by Francesca Torzo (Belgium), Fondazione Sandretto Landscape for Art in Guarene (Italy), Cloud Seven – Frédéric de Goldsmith Collection, Brussels (Belgium). They lecture, among others, at Politecnico di Milano, Accademia di Architettura di Mendrisio, Technical University of Munich, or Triennale di Milano.
