Josef Pleskot: The Rebirth of Space

Public space can be a medium in which human relationships unfold. It creates atmosphere, stimulates experience. It can guide a person towards a friendly contact with others.
The opening of the Dominican monastery to the public space of Prague's Old Town, the revitalization of the post-industrial district of Lower Vítkovice, and the pedestrian connection of the banks of the Otava River in Písek. How have these spaces opened to new life so that people can meet in them?
Ing. arch. Josef Pleskot - leading Czech architect, a native of Písek. Architect of the Year 2014 and holder of numerous awards. He designs family houses, public buildings and spaces, as well as sacred structures.
