The architectural office OV-A was established in 2007. Its founders Jiří Opočenský and Štěpán Valouch are both graduates of the Faculty of Architecture at Czech Technical University. Before founding the office, they collaborated on the design and construction of a family house in Svitavy. After further projects and realizations of family houses and interiors from 2007 to 2010, the work continued on larger projects and urban complexes. In 2010, the company OV Architekti s.r.o. was founded. From 2010 to 2013, the office team grew to 4 permanent members. In 2012-2013, Jiří Opočenský and Štěpán Valouch led the ZAN studio at the Faculty of Architecture of Czech Technical University.
