Dear Mrs. Architect, dear Mr. Architect,

Similar to previous years, in the upcoming year we plan to present to the general public SALON OF WOODEN BUILDINGS, the largest non-competitive exhibition showcasing the best of wooden architecture that has emerged in recent times. This project aims to engage as wide a spectrum of visitors as possible through exhibitions, lectures, screenings, and professional literature.

After its premiere in Prague, which will traditionally take place as part of the Dřevostavby fair (February 2 – 5, 2017), there will be follow-up exhibitions in other cities in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

We would like to offer you the opportunity to present your house at SALON OF WOODEN BUILDINGS 2017.

  • publication of the project in the Yearbook of Wooden Buildings, which recaps each year's Salon
  • presentation of your project on a poster (60x200 cm), which will be part of the traveling exhibition
  • printing of the exhibition poster featuring your project
  • an extended opportunity to present your project directly at the exhibition site, such as displaying a model, a composition mock-up, etc.
  • the possibility to present your project to visitors of the Dřevostavby fair as part of the accompanying lectures of the Salon
  • 3 copies of the Yearbook of Wooden Buildings 2016, including delivery to your address
  • visibility for your project and your studio on the website of the Salon of Wooden Buildings
  • 2 invitations to the Salon of Wooden Buildings party
  • 2 tickets to the Slovak construction fair Coneco
  • 4 free tickets to the Dřevostavby fair and, upon request, free tickets to all follow-up exhibitions of the Salon
Similar to previous years, we are also planning cooperation with embassies and cultural representations this year. Last year, for example, the selection of the best from the Salon of Wooden Buildings over the past three years was presented at the Technical University in Gdańsk, Poland. In previous editions, we had the honor of welcoming prominent architects from Norway, Canada, Austria, and Scandinavia to the Salon. An integral part of this project is also media support across print and electronic media.

More information about the Salon can be found at www.salondrevostaveb.cz.

We believe our offer has appealed to you, and we look forward to collaborating.

Mgr. Klára Vlková
Coordinator of the Salon of Wooden Buildings 2017
