Superstudio 2019 - introduction of the catalog
On Thursday, June 6, 2019, at 6:00 PM, a one-day pop-up exhibition of the best student projects created in this year's architectural competition SUPERSTUDIO will take place in the LOBBY space (Karolíny Světlé 31, Prague 1) in the center of Prague. The new catalog SUPERSTUDIO 2019 will also be introduced at the event in an unusual format.
In March, five cities in the Czech Republic and Slovakia hosted the ninth edition of the architectural competition for university students, Superstudio, which saw participation from over a hundred teams. Students worked on assignments from successful Portuguese architects from Fala Atelier during a 24-hour time limit, focusing on the very form of architecture. Their task was to design an ideal house for Sivka – a four-legged friend of the important 20th-century architect Josip Plečnik.
The finals of the competition took place on March 9 at the sold-out CAMP in Prague, where the best teams from each city presented their projects. These final projects will be featured in the new catalog, which will be introduced during the pop-up exhibition.
