Loděnice - The company Skanska Reality from the Skanska group has purchased a plot of land in the center of Loděnice in the Beroun region and plans to build residential buildings on it. On the 1.1-hectare plot, which previously housed agricultural buildings, 100 apartments, several commercial units, and spaces for community facilities are to be developed. The company announced the transaction today in a press release, but did not disclose the price.
Skanska Reality acquired the land by purchasing a 100% business stake in the company SPV Centrum Loděnice, which was its previous owner. "In Loděnice, we managed to acquire a plot where apartments for young families and clients who are looking for housing within reach of Prague with good transport accessibility to its center will be built," said the CEO of Skanska Reality, Petr Michálek. According to him, the company will contribute to the final appearance of the local square and also wants to help the municipality with investments in infrastructure and transport solutions in the center of Loděnice.
Skanska's residential division is thus preparing its second project outside of Prague. Last year, it acquired a larger area in Libčice nad Vltavou, where the Park Cihelka will be built, which is a project combining apartment and family houses. The first 57 apartments will be offered for sale by the company in mid-next year.
Skanska is one of the largest companies globally providing services in construction, commercial, and residential land development. It is engaged in the construction of transport infrastructure, public facilities, and engineering networks, manufactures its own products, and secures resources for construction.
