The rector of AVU will be Mária Topolčanská

The Academy of Fine Arts in Prague elected a new rector on December 1, 2021 – at its meeting today, the Academic Senate elected candidate for the position of rector Ing. arch. Mária Topolčanská, PhD.. In the first round, she received the required majority of votes totaling 9. The new rector elected by the Academic Senate will assume office after her appointment by the President of the Czech Republic on February 1, 2022.
