Red Group has started building offices and a hotel in Ostrava for 1.3 billion.

Ostrava - The Czech-Irish development company Red Group has started building a modern complex called The Orchard in Ostrava, which will consist of three office buildings, a four-star hotel, a restaurant, and a parking facility. The hotel and the first office building are expected to be completed by the end of this year, said Alexandra Děcká from Red Group to ČTK. The company plans to invest approximately 1.3 billion crowns in Ostrava.

The three buildings will create a total of 25,000 square meters of office space and other business areas, with exclusivity added by the proximity of the 185-room hotel and a conference center for 250 people. According to the managers interviewed, the connection between the office complex and the hotel will provide a supportive environment for entrepreneurs and managers, which currently has no competition in Ostrava.
The complex will rise on a plot of land between Hornopolní Street and the future extended Místecká Street (currently Cihelní), which will connect the center of Ostrava with the D47 highway.
Red Group has been operating in the Czech Republic since 1992, primarily in Prague (the Nagano project) and in Stará Boleslav, and plans to develop activities in Brno as well.
The Ostrava project is particularly aimed at foreign companies preparing to enter the Moravian-Silesian Region in connection with the investment of the Korean car manufacturer Hyundai in Nošovice in the Frýdek-Místek area.
