The development division of PSJ, one of the largest construction companies in the Czech Republic, has decided to collaborate with the architectural studio E-mrak s.r.o. of Martin Rajniš. This could lead to a unique project of green residential landscape in the future, fulfilling the characteristics of natural architecture.

The trend in the construction of family houses is increasingly leaning toward nature and naturalness. This is manifested in the more frequent use of traditional natural materials such as wood, glass, stone, clay, and especially in the sensitive placement of dwellings within the existing environment. More often, the very design of buildings is inspired by shapes found in nature. These features are summarized by the term natural architecture, which is being introduced in the Czech Republic by the renowned architect Martin Rajniš. Thanks to the collaboration between PSJ and the original studio E-mrak s.r.o. of Martin Rajniš, a project for a green residential landscape will emerge in the future, serving as an alternative to today's satellite towns. This will combine the expertise of a strong construction company with unique architectural talent.
“We realize that the development market in the Czech Republic is still evolving. People are no longer satisfied with just living in satellite towns as we have known them in the past. Natural architecture emphasizes building in harmony with nature and human nature. In addition, social aspects of housing must also be taken into account,” says Zdeněk Archleb from PSJ. According to Archleb, for people looking for housing, the environment in which they will live and having enough friends in their vicinity, along with opportunities for building and developing interpersonal relationships, is more important than ever. Another important aspect is good accessibility to nature. Unlike some projects in satellite towns that present greenery as a fenced-off corner of grassy space among buildings, people want the opportunity to truly live in nature. The collaboration between PSJ and Rajniš guarantees that their joint projects will be original and designed in harmony with nature.
Natural architecture is not a new concept in the world. In a similar style, Microsoft CEO Bill Gates had his residence designed and built. “The houses we are preparing to build will not differ much from Gates',” says architect Martin Rajniš for the website www.zijjinak.cz. “He had his house built using many expensive technologies, we are much more modest, however, we share the same philosophy. We are not eccentrics who would dream up some extravagance. This approach can indeed be a very serious way to build,” adds architect Rajniš.
