Until Sunday, October 28, 2012, the 16th annual international documentary film festival is taking place in Jihlava. This festival, which is the largest event of its kind in Central and Eastern Europe, has long been given its architectural face by Josef Čančík. After a weekend struggle with relentless time and a minimal budget, you can view photographs from the installation created specifically for this week. The entire festival is, for the organizers, an artifact that playfully invites reflections on the world from various perspectives. It does not adopt conventional festival models or routine pragmatism in programming. Ji.hlava, to which you are all warmly invited, pays tribute to courage and risk, which is also reflected in this year's installation by Josef Čančík (ECHTarchitektura) and Vít Šimek (H3T). More extensive information will follow.
