Dubai - A skyscraper is being prepared for construction in Dubai that will transform before your eyes thanks to rotating elements. The dynamic skyscraper was designed by architect David Fisher of Italian and Israeli descent, who stated that the individual floors will rotate very gently and no sound will be heard.
Dubai is known for its exclusive architecture, and the dynamic skyscraper was first mentioned there in 2008, but the project was postponed. Even now, when construction details have emerged, it has not yet been announced when the construction will begin or where it will stand.
"It will never look the same. The floor will rotate very slowly; you won’t hear anything," Fisher said. According to him, the apartments will be able to rotate individually by 360 degrees at a speed that can be adjusted.
A solid unit will pass through the center of the building, in which an elevator will be located, and to which the individual apartments will be connected.
The building is to be connected to wind turbines that will be placed between the individual floors, ensuring it is self-sufficient in electricity supply. "It's a green power plant, and it will supply electricity to the entire building," Fisher said.
Another world novelty will be that it will be the first prefabricated skyscraper, as the individual apartments will be made off-site and suspended onto the central tower already completed.
Acquiring an apartment in this building will be expensive: it is preliminarily estimated that it could cost around 30 million dollars (763 million crowns).
