Hotel Marqués de Riscal by Frank Gehry

Renowned German photographer Thomas Mayer published 112 photographs documenting the construction of the Hotel Marqués de Riscal designed by Frank Gehry. The small town of Elciego is located a hundred kilometers south of Bilbao, where the client was likely inspired by the famous Guggenheim Museum by the same architect. The hotel, situated in the midst of vineyards, will also feature a luxury restaurant, a rooftop wine bar with panoramic views, and of course, a wine cellar.
