Students of architecture are building huts in the Krkonoš Mountains - invitation to the vernissage

We would like to invite you to the presentation of the prototypes of shelters in the Krkonoš Mountains, which were designed and built by architecture students and are currently being completed at the Dejvice campus. The vernissage will take place on Thursday, January 17, 2019, at 11:00 AM in the courtyard of the Faculty of Architecture CTU, Thákurova 9, Prague 6 - Dejvice. The shelters are the result of cooperation between the Department of Design II at the Faculty of Architecture CTU and the Administration of the Krkonoš National Park. A year ago, our students built footbridges for the Krkonoš, and this year the Administration of KRNAP entrusted them with the design and realization of six shelters. These emergency shelters serve at the crossings of hiking trails in the Krkonoš Mountains, but there are not enough of them, and some are already deteriorating.
