The work of the renowned Czech architect Josef Pleskot will be presented in Litomyšl, in the town where this esteemed Czech architect contributed to its modern appearance with several buildings. The opening of the exhibition Josef Pleskot – Journey (II), curated by Pavel Brunclík, will take place on October 3rd at 5:00 PM in the house U Rytířů. The opening will continue at the Regional Museum in Litomyšl, where the second part of the extensive exhibition will also be presented, including the architectural installation "Something Was Not Completed" on the façade of the castle brewery in Litomyšl. On Saturday, October 4th at 10:00 AM, there will be a tour of the exhibition and a walk around the town with personal commentary from Josef Pleskot, starting at the house U Rytířů. Visitors to the exhibition will be able to view photographs and three-dimensional models of the realized projects of Josef Pleskot, among the most famous are the ČSOB headquarters in Prague, the nature trail in Jelení příkop, and the passage through the rampart of the Powder Bridge at Prague Castle, the reconstruction of industrial buildings in Ostrava - Lower Vítkovice, the reconstruction of the museum, brewery, and forecourt in Litomyšl, and more. The exhibition is a reprise of a successful exhibition project that took place last year in Ostrava and will last in Litomyšl until November 23rd. The organizers of the project are the City Gallery Litomyšl and the Regional Museum in Litomyšl.
