Green Architecture II

The second edition of the exhibition project at the Jaroslav Fragner Gallery, Green Architecture II, presents three exhibitions connected by the theme of sustainability and natural materials. Form & Energy (Austrian architecture), Wooden Boxes (modern wooden architecture from Austria and Finland), and the Zumtobel Group Award 2010.

Zumtobel Group Award recognizes sustainable solutions in architecture and technology that have a progressive contribution to the future quality of life.
The goals of the competition are:

• To respond to current issues and highlight the possibilities of sustainable architecture and urbanism
• To identify and discuss diverse requirements and interests related to the sustainability of life in the built environment
• To support current and future generations of architects and engineers to actively engage in research into new sustainable solutions and their implementation
