Thursday, May 17 | 6:00 PM Lecture in English: Jewish Clients and Architects, Viennese Modernism and the Sociology of Aesthetics Lecture by Dr. Elana Shapira, an art and design historian from Design History and Theory (University of Applied Arts Vienna) examines the heritage of Viennese modernism from new cultural and sociological perspectives by reconsidering the role of Jewish patrons and architects in shaping revolutionary architecture and design at the beginning of the 20th century.
