Barbora Šimonová, Ing.arch. Lukáš Peck, and Ing.arch. Jiří Vokřál, worth 50,000 CZK. On this occasion, it was noted that the level of studies submitted to the competition remains, despite a significant increase in contestants, roughly at the same level as in the previous year. All awards will be presented at a ceremonial event that will take place on January 23, 2008, in Prague under the patronage of the Minister for Regional Development Jiří Čunek.
This year's yield of architectural studies was record-breaking compared to previous years, with a total of 40 submitted. A total of 10 cities participated in the competition, with the greatest interest shown by Slavkov u Brna (8), Jihlava (7), Tišnov (6), and Stříbro (6). Following them were Kraslice (4), Světlá nad Sázavou (4), Chýně (2), Litovel (2). In second-to-last place is Mladá Boleslav (1), and in last place is Děčín, for which no one expressed interest in its topic. The architectural studies will be formally handed over to the cities in November.
