The results of the Best in Real Estate competition were announced in Prague

Prague - The winner of this year's Best of Realty competition in the residential buildings category is the Villa Charles project from Prague 6. The most appealing shopping center was the Forum Nová Karolina in Ostrava. The organizers of the competition announced this today through ČTK.
     The winner among new office projects is City Green Court in Prague 4. The winner in the reconstructed office category also comes from the same locality, and that is the Qubix project. The most successful hotel was the Clarion Congress Hotel in České Budějovice.
     "Overall, the competition 'Best of Realty' confirmed that despite the continuing economic crisis, the real estate market is revving up, albeit in a brake-gas manner," said Kamil Kosman, vice-chairman of the supervisory board of the Association for the Development of the Real Estate Market and head of the competition’s expert jury. A total of 36 projects competed for the awards this year.
     The competition that concluded today is not the only real estate contest in the Czech Republic. At the beginning of October, ABF - Foundation for the Development of Architecture and Construction announced the results of this year's Building of the Year competition. Five architectural achievements received awards, without distinction of order. The award was given to a colorful mix of buildings, from the renovated Franciscan monastery in Hostinné in Trutnov region to the giant fuel tanks in Loukov in Kroměříž region.
