Prague – The international jury of the XXVI. year of the Grand Prix Architects - National Award for Architecture 2019 selected as the winner of the GPA - National Award for Architecture 2019 the project Corso Pod Lipami (Král Jiří z Poděbrad Square 2, Řevnice) by the studio EHL & KOUMAR ARCHITEKTI, s.r.o. – Lukáš Ehl, Tomáš Koumar, Alena Šrámková, who received a large blue glass cube Grand Prix from the workshop of artist Bohumil Eliáš.

The lifetime achievement award was given by the Council of the municipality to Ing. arch. Vlado Milunič, who is known primarily for the design of the Dancing House.

The ceremonial announcement of the winners took place today in the Pantheon of the National Museum in the presence of significant representatives of the professional community, state administration, and the diplomatic corps.
The international jury of this year's competition worked with the following members: Oliver Sádovský from the Vallo - Sádovský studio, nominated for the Mies van der Rohe Award (Slovakia), Fabrizio Barozzi from the BarozziVeiga studio, holder of the European Mies van der Rohe Award (Italy), Daniel Zarhy from the PEZ studio (Israel), Irena Fialová, Associate Dean of the Faculty of Architecture CTU (Czech Republic) and Bolle Tham from the ThamVidegard studio (Sweden). Jury members can only serve once in their lifetime.
You can view the exhibition of 50 selected projects throughout the month of October at the Faculty of Architecture CTU in Prague in Dejvice.
