Mónica Rivera

Biography
1993 - obtained a bachelor's degree in fine arts and in 1994 a bachelor's degree in architecture from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD scholarship). She worked for three years at Architecture Research Office (ARO) in New York
1999 - obtained a master's degree in architecture from Harvard University (GSD scholarship)
since 1999 - lives in Barcelona, where from 2000-04 she worked in the editorial office of Gustavo Gili
1999-2002 - served as a visiting professor of architecture at ESARQ, Universitat Internacional de Catalunya
2001-08 served as a professor of interior design at Elisava Escola de Disseny in Barcelona
2017 - visiting professor Eugene McDermott Centennial at the School of Architecture, University of Texas, Austin
2015-17 - visiting professor of architecture at Washington University in St. Louis
Currently serves as a practice professor and chair of the architecture department at the College of Architecture at Washington University in St. Louis
