Biography
Ludwig Ruff was a German architect active during the National Socialist regime. However, he began his career in the 1910s, when he designed romanticizing garden cities. In the 1920s, he transitioned from Gothic expressionist style to neoclassicism, which then became the architectural language of the Third Reich. His son Franz Ruff (1909-79) seamlessly continued his work.
