Biography
Director, graphic designer, and art director. Born and living in Bratislava. After studying applied arts, he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design, specializing in industrial design. As a graphic designer and art director, he has worked in advertising companies in Vienna (Chocolate Multimedia Production), Sydney (Mcmann&Tate), and Bratislava (Wiktor Leo Burnett).
Currently, he works as a director and creative director at GunPowder studio. He is the creator of dozens of award-winning commercials, to which he has lent his unique style based on appealing visuals and dynamic film editing. He has collaborated with brands such as OMV, Belvedere Gallery, Marlboro, RedBull, Johnnie Walker, Orange, Alfa Romeo, Good Angel, and the Viva Musica Festival.
He is the winner of the Áčko competition for the best music video (for Jana Kirschner), a finalist in the Billboard of the Year competition, and The Global Awards New York 08, holder of the Filip award – Recognition for personal contribution to Slovak creativity, and a winner of many Golden Nails for the best Slovak advertisement of the year. In addition, he has created music videos and short fiction films. The film Candidate is his directorial feature film debut, and he also "directed" the music video for the title film song by Vec.
