Biography
João Mendes Ribeiro studied architecture at FAUP in Porto, where he also taught from 1989 to 1991. In 2009, he obtained a doctorate in the history and theory of architecture at the University of Coimbra. Since 1991, he has been teaching architecture at the University of Coimbra. From 1991 to 1998, he was an assistant professor to Fernando Távora.
