Biography
He was born in 1960 in Nitra and has lived in Šaľa since early childhood. After graduating from the Faculty of Architecture at the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava (1983), he worked as a site manager and later as a designer at a construction company in Galanta. In 1990, he worked at the Department of the Chief Architect in Galanta and was the head of the District Office for the Environment in Šaľa (1991-92). He was involved in the founding of the Slovak Chamber of Architects (1992), where he has been running his own architectural studio - initially as a freelancer and since 2009 as PLEIDEL ARCHITEKTI s. r. o. He is the author and co-author of numerous completed buildings, residential civil buildings, public spaces, and various winning and awarded designs in urban and architectural competitions. He has prepared several urban planning documents, especially zoning plans. In 2013, and again in 2015 and 2017, he was elected as the chairman of the Slovak Chamber of Architects.
