Biography
Ian Bogle graduated in 1993 with a degree in architecture and urbanism from the Mackintosh School of Architecture, Glasgow School of Art. In 1994, he obtained his architect qualification while working for the Glasgow firm The Parr Partnership, and then in 1995 he joined the office of Foster+Partners. Before moving to London in 1997, he worked as an architect for the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre in Glasgow. In 2002, he joined Hamiltons Architects, where as a director he significantly contributed to the change in direction of the firm and became a pioneer of an international approach while maintaining a strong workload in the UK. In 2010, he co-founded the successor practice Bogle Flanagan Lawrence Silver Ltd., and in March 2012, he established Bogle Architects.
