Biography
From 1971 to 1978, she studied architecture at the Technical University of Darmstadt. After working in several architectural and urban planning offices, she established her own studio in Berlin in 1985. From 1985 to 1990, she served as a research assistant at the University of the Arts in Berlin (1990-1992 as a lecturer). Since 1994, she has worked as a professor of architectural and urban design at the Bauhaus University in Weimar. Since 2010, she has been a member of the Institute of European Urbanism at the Bauhaus University in Weimar. Since 2016, she has been a member of the advisory board of the Hanseatic city of Lübeck.
