Biography
Francisca Pulido studied architecture in 1996 at Universidad Finis Terrae. Initially, she worked independently until she founded the architectural studio ASSADI Y PULIDO and today ATELIER PULIDO. She taught at Universidad Finis Terrae, Universidad Andrés Bello, Universidad de Talca, Universidad del Desarrollo, and Universidad Mayor in Chile, as well as at IUAV in Venice, Italy.
She has been invited to give lectures in Brazil, Peru, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Argentina, the United States, Spain, and Italy. Her work has been published in several countries and magazines, such as Wallpaper and Architectural Review in London, Arquitectura Viva and AV Monografías in Madrid, Architectural Record in New York, GA in Tokyo, Domus and Casabella in Italy, and in professional books around the world.
She is the director of the ARQUINE congress in Chile, whose first and second editions took place in 2014 and 2016. She is a member of the curatorial team of the Architecture Biennale, which takes place at the cultural center Ex Cárcel in Valparaíso. Since 2015, she has been a member of the editorial board of the AOA magazine of the same association.
