Biography
Francesca Benedetto studied architecture at the Politecnico di Milano and the Universidade Técnica de Lisboa. In addition to working in her own studio, where she focuses primarily on landscape architecture and urbanism, she also works in academia, teaching and participating in panels and conferences at leading universities around the world. She closely links her designs to scientific research.
Since 2016 - she has been serving as a visiting critic at the Department of Landscape Architecture at Harvard University in Cambridge, MA
2015-16 - she worked with Prof. Stefano Boeri at the Politecnico di Milano
2014 - she coordinated the Master's program in Land Design at IED (Istituto Europeo di Design) in Cagliari, Italy
2015 - she served as the Italian ambassador for IED (Istituto Europeo di Design)
2008 - she founded her own studio in Milan, Italy
2006-08 - she worked at the landscape studio LAND in Milan
