Biography
Finn Geipel is a German architect and urban planner who lives, works, and teaches in Paris and Berlin.
1983-87 - co-founded the collective LABFAC in Stuttgart with Bernd Hoge and Jochen Hunger
1985 - received a DAAD scholarship for a stay in Paris
1987-2001 - studied architecture at the University of Stuttgart
1987 - opened LABFAC Paris in partnership with Nicolas Michelin
1996-97 - visiting professor at the Ecole Spéciale d’architecture in Paris
1997-99 - visiting professor at the Ecole d’architecture Paris la Seine in Paris
1999 - visiting professor at Columbia University in New York
2000 - initiated the establishment of LIA (Laboratory for Integrative Architecture)
since April 2000 - serves as a university professor at the Technical University of Berlin
2001 - co-founded the architectural atelier LIN based in Berlin and Paris with Giulia Andi
