represents the James Hardie Group in the Czech and Slovak markets, which is the world's leader in the production of fiber-cement boards for Hardie® facade cladding. The current portfolio of the company consists of three strong product brands – fermacell®, Hardie®, and Aestuver®. The advantages of the fiber-reinforced, cement-reinforced boards and fermacell® flooring elements – fire safety, acoustics, statics, healthy living, a wide range of products, commercial service, extensive certification, and brand tradition – are well known and utilized by Czech and Slovak architects and their customers across a wide spectrum of constructions.

The fiber-cement Hardie® cladding is characterized by its long lifespan and durability; a strong point is also the appearance and design of the facade with a wide selection of colors, shapes, and textures. System solutions for fire protection are offered by Aestuver® fireproof boards.

Fermacell® Fiber-reinforced Boards

are the ideal complement to the product portfolio of James Hardie. The first fiber-reinforced board left the production line in the early 1970s at the fermacell® plant in Münchehof near Goslar, Germany. This laid the foundation for the success of the fermacell® brand. The high-quality, extremely stable board fundamentally changed the entire construction industry of drywall structures, and the fermacell® brand became large and strong. Currently, fermacell® fiber-reinforced boards and Powerpanel® H2O water-resistant and weather-resistant boards represent a quick and economical concept for all areas of interior construction. Hardie® Fiber-cement Facade Cladding

Thanks to technological innovations, Hardie® products are more efficient than other facade cladding. REFERENCE PROJECTS

Extension of Vesper Homes in Prague or Prague in Towers

An interesting and challenging project of a rooftop extension with three loft apartments with a total usable area of 300 m² in Prague's Vinohrady at the corner of Šafaříkova and Jana Masaryka streets by Vesper Homes, which also used fermacell® fiber-reinforced boards for the cladding of its wall panels.

Materials and Structures with fermacell® Boards and Hardie® Cladding in the New Town Hall of ÚMČ Prague 12

All departments of ÚMČ Prague 12 and all activities relocated to the new town hall in autumn 2021, where its three buildings on Generála Šišky street in Modřany evoke the shape of three sugar cubes, according to the project authors. During construction, cement-bonded fermacell® Powerpanel H2O boards and fiber-cement cladding from Hardie® panels were installed on the retaining walls and exterior ceilings of the new building.

Modular Extension of the Orthopedic Block for the Karviná Mining Hospital by KOMA MODULAR

The Karviná Mining Hospital building was expanded in 2020 with a new extension for the orthopedic department. Given the speed and efficiency of realization, the hospital investor's initial considerations led to the application of a modular system. The project was created by the Třinec-based petit atelier s.r.o. and its team of professionals led by managing director Jan Beneš. The modules were supplied by KOMA MODULAR, and fermacell® fiber-reinforced boards were again used due to their properties.

Fermacell Flooring Elements Met the Demanding Requirements of the Investor of the Renewed Mountain Complex Petrovy boudy

On the wooden beam ceiling, fermacell® dry floor elements were fully applied. The structure of the floor over the 2nd floor consists of (in the direction from the beam ceiling) a covering, a fermacell® 60 mm honeycomb system, a fermacell® leveling underlay (20 mm), a fermacell® 10 mm distribution board under the floor heating, a floor heating system for dry systems from Rehau, and a fermacell® 2E22 floor element made up of two 12.5 mm fermacell® boards.
