Federico Pompignoli began studying at the art school in Parma, continued at the University of Applied Sciences in Potsdam and at the Technical University of Berlin, and graduated in architecture from the Polytechnic University of Milan in 2003. From the completion of his studies until 2005, he collaborated with Guido Canali in Parma, where he worked on various projects, including the design of a new Prada factory in Tuscany. After five years of freelancing, in 2010 he joined the Rotterdam office of OMA, where he participated in projects such as Fondaco dei Tedeschi in Venice (2016), Garage Gorky Park in Moscow (2015), and the museum gallery of Fondazione Prada in Milan (2018). In 2015, he co-founded the 7478 studio with Alessandro De Santis, based in Rotterdam and Malta.
