1980-86 - studied furniture design and interior design at the Academy of Arts in Rotterdam1987-90 - studied at the Architectural Association (Dip AA) in London
1994-2014 co-founded and led the studio Drost + van Veen architecten with Simone Drost, focusing half on residential projects and half on public buildings.
