The Floor Plan Manual documents and analyses approx.130 international examples of housing over the last 30 years. Buildings of both famous and not so famous architects all over the world show a variety of answers for various problems. This manual starts in the 1960's when floor plan and lighting controlled the designs. It shows the turning towards the street, to the facade and to pretentious enclosing systems in the 1980's and ends with the latest buildings demanding geometrical design and surprisingly formal elements.
