Tyršova Primary School

Built in 1932 according to the design of Ing. Otakar Pořízek at a cost of 3,794,647 CZK as Tyrš's Municipal Experimental School. For its time, it was one of the most modern schools in Czechoslovakia, not only in architectural design but also in teaching methods. This functionalist building has deteriorated significantly over the past decades. Its renovation in 1994 cost over 30 million CZK.
