Family house in Sazovice

The plot of the family house is located in the smaller village of Sazovice near Zlín, within the existing development of older family houses from the second half of the 20th century. It is a long plot sloping towards the south with an access road along the southern side. Adjacent to the surrounding development is a garage structure, which creates the first plan of the intricate floor plan. The single-story house is set deeper into the plot and is hidden behind the garage structure. Alongside the garage, there is access to the house, which is oriented in accordance with the long boundary of the plot. On the eastern side towards the space of the plot, the house is maximally open, while the western side is rather closed. The house corresponds in height with the terrain and is divided into three height levels. At the highest level is the main living space of the living room with the kitchen and dining area. At the level of the living room, a covered outdoor terrace continues, partially embedded in the terrain. The quieter parts of the house with bedrooms and bathrooms, an office, and a technical room are located at the lower level.
