The building is situated among the existing cramped buildings on a rectangular plot with a dominating length dimension. Its longitudinal axis is oriented in the north-south direction. The terrain is flat, gently sloping towards the south. It is devoid of mature greenery.
The family house has an L-shaped floor plan. It is intended for the living of four people. It has two above-ground floors and is not basemented.
The construction includes utility network infrastructure, paved areas for access and entry to the building, a smaller garden relaxation pool with a whirlpool located in a pavilion, a terrace, and fencing.
The building is conceived as a composition of several cubes that contrast with each other in the materials used. The lower cube forms the base, which is closed to the street but light and open towards the garden. The upper cube is situated parallel to the road, acting as a barrier and is designed from lighter materials. The entire composition is complemented by airy and open steel canopies clad in wood.
The roughly applied twisted gray plaster of the brickwork contrasts with the wooden cladding of the canopies. The glazed areas of the main living space open maximally to the garden, and the rooms in the quiet zone provide privacy behind the industrially appearing cladding of corten steel sheets. On the narrow plot, there was an effort to maximize the garden area and connect it to the main living space.
The house is designed as a two-story, non-basement, rectangular floor plan. It is oriented longitudinally on the plot, north-south, with the southern facade parallel to the public road. On the southern side, there is a covered parking space for two cars. On the northwest side, there is a terrace that continues with a covered pavilion.
The family house is located in a quite dense development, partly built in the 1990s and partly realized even earlier, but not very successfully reconstructed.
The first above-ground floor is arranged as follows: covered parking space, porch, entrance hall, storage room, room/study, WC, technical room, main living space with a staircase and fireplace insert, and a kitchen area integrated into the living space. The living room is designed to avoid excessive sunlight and at the same time allows visual connection with the exterior. The passage to the covered terrace is visible from the interior and continues to the covered pavilion with a whirlpool and pool. On the second above-ground floor, a corridor leads to two rooms, a bathroom, and a bedroom with a dressing room.
