Urban Planning Solution
The area of 4,000 m² is located in the entrance part of the Future Park in Havlíčkův Brod. It represents a very important part, the "heart of the park." The area is in close proximity to the historical center of the town with a direct communication link to it. It serves as the main entrance to the entire park. Important routes to schools, residential areas, and direct recreation pass through it. There is also an important architectural and technical connection between the Hastrman and Obora ponds.

Architectural Solution
It is based on the overall concept of the Future Park. The first phase includes the central building - a café with social facilities and a background for organizing cultural and social events. The area also features a children’s playground, an amphitheater, and a water biotope – the Očko pond. Integral elements include lawns for gatherings, mature trees, and plantings of ground-cover perennials, grasses, and climbing plants. The solution is complemented by benches and public lighting. Everything is addressed in a contemporary modern form subservient to the natural and historical context of the site.

Layout Solution
The proposed design must be understood within the overall context of mutually influencing elements that are an integral part of the park area being addressed. The aim is to present not only the construction of the park's facilities but the entire phase as one indivisible whole.

Structural and Material Solution
The proposed project intertwines several approaches and their expressions. In all cases, it represents a balanced expression whether in the wooden structure itself, simple, functional, energy-efficient, architecturally, and technically corresponding to the site and its required function. Another significant element in the solution is the use of stone, both in the water and as part of the park's furnishings. Erosion control of slopes, a wooden amphitheater, and a technically sophisticated approach to water management are also key aspects.

Special Environmental Benefits
These lie in the overall complexity of the solution. The building forms part of a harmonious whole within the park environment. Together with the natural features of the ponds, playgrounds, gathering lawns, and trees. An integral part is also the social-educational aspect. This is exemplified by the combination of natural building materials, a green roof on the building, and not least, various examples of water management solutions. The goal was to create a friendly environment for people, animals, and plants.
