Restaurant Lluçanes

The restaurant is located in the local market on the Barcelona square Plaça Del Poeta Bosca. The architectural program was divided into two existing floors, with the less formal ground floor featuring a bar and the first-floor restaurant awarded a Michelin Star.
The interior has an industrial character typical of the original market space, further enhanced by the architectural intervention supporting its technocratic feel. The delineated orthogonal space is complemented by fluidly rounded walls concealing the operations of the bar and kitchen booths on the ground floor. The central area of the ground floor consists of symmetrically arranged restaurant tables at the center of the layout.
We reach the first floor via a staircase with diagonally divided arms, passing a bordering black board with red backlighting. The highlight of the first-floor space is the vaulted ceiling of the metal roof and the tube air conditioning conduits. The open kitchen is separated from the dining area by a bar counter. The sterile white-gray color scheme, illuminated by cold white light, is softened by wooden furniture and bluish table settings. The varied layout space is unified by a geometric pattern of different scales and material finishes applied to the walls and floors of the interior.
