The first avocado restaurant in Prague, Avocado gang, was created on the ground floor of a corner apartment building on Lyčkovo náměstí in Prague-Karlín. The restaurant features a simple elongated space with a 9.3-meter-long table in its center, providing 22 seats, as well as additional seating along the walls. The open kitchen allows every guest to confirm the freshness of their brunch. The vibrant colors of the table are derived from the distinct colors of the avocado and the dishes prepared from it. The "uncolored" shades of gray serve as the backdrop for the colorful objects – whether they are the table, chairs around it, or – most importantly – the food served here. The table consists of massive spruce beams with a profile of 160 x 100mm supported by hot-dip galvanized steel legs. Spruce is also used in the interior in the form of laminated bio-board, with hot-dip galvanized steel used for the legs of other tables, chairs, lights, paneling of the elongated wall separating the guest area from the restaurant's facilities, sinks, and other elements. The whole is complemented by a cement floor coating and light gray paint. There is definitely enough space left for the avocado itself – whether in the expected form of guacamole or avocado pancakes with bacon.

Thoughts flow, dreams are made. But without real people, they couldn’t come true. Avocado gang is a dream full of colors, flavors, shapes, enthusiasm, madness, and craziness. A restaurant. The first avocado restaurant in Prague. A joint effort of great people.
Roots from the avocado pit push through slowly. Unobtrusively. And a little uncertainly. At first, you might not even notice the main one who paves the way for others. And suddenly, there is a substantial clump of larger and smaller roots in the glass. A sturdy young and small shoot. And as the plant thrives and grows, and sprouts, boasts, and craves, it can rely on them. They grow deep and sideways... They form the best foundation that rebellious youth can have. A process not unlike opening a restaurant. The similarity between Avocado Gang and the "ordinary" pit, from which pure beauty is born, is actually absolute.
We worked on the restaurant for many months before opening. Slowly. Unobtrusively. Yes, sometimes even uncertainly. We searched, experimented, expanded in our thoughts, rejoiced, enjoyed, humbly built a solid foundation so that we could then tell the world: we have it, we can grow. We can turn green!
