La Pedrera
The basic impulse for the realized multifunctional building on Bazová Street in Bratislava is inspired by Gaudí's architecture; in a broader sense, however, the intention draws from the imagination of Art Nouveau and the artistic perception of architecture. The construction of Gaudí's house La Pedrera in Barcelona was not brought to detail according to the vision of the world-famous architect. Yet, it is precisely its roughness that appeals with the rawness of surfaces and explosion of shapes, and in that, the architecture of the La Pedrera house is timeless. The multifunctional object on Bazová is thus a certain reminiscence - a reminder of his work.
When designing the building on Bazová Street, from the very first proposals, there was consideration for the dynamic sculptural shaping of the mass of this house, which has a distinctive character, rhythm, contains a story, and disrupts established right angles.
The building is enlivened mainly by the horizontal vibrating line of terrace railings, which has undulated the mass of the entire urban block at the intersection of three communication routes. The arched railing is covered only with simple light gray plaster with a fine-grained structure, which contrasts with the archetypal yellow-brown brick cladding of the facade.

Variations on Infinity
The "genius loci" of the multifunctional Gaudí house is defined by its location in a quiet area of Bratislava, linked to the adjacent urban park with a mass of lush greenery on the northern side. The construction has completed the originally open urban block, closing it in the shape of a U. An enclosed courtyard has been created in the inner block, which will serve as a private relaxation area for the residents of the house. In the center of the atrium, there are plans to place a constructivist sculpture by sculptor Alexander Trizuljak. The artifact belongs to the series Variations on Infinity from the 1960s and employs a related motif of undulation.
