Apartment for a couple, art collectors, owners of a large library and a grand piano
Our main effort was to ensure that the inserted modifications did not destroy the beautiful raw concrete structure. The ground floor of the apartment is designed as one minimally divided space, with cores lightened by glass blocks that allow light to pass through. The secret space of the study has a completely different atmosphere. In the middle of the layout are spiral stairs leading to the private floor. The floor is divided into separate men's and women's wings. The men's wing also includes a gym and a bathtub. The creation of spaces and the arrangement of art and books were integral parts of the interior design.
The main artistic element of the design is the lighting, a gallery system for optimal illumination of the art and object light sculptures, custom-designed for each space. The design includes linear chandeliers that reflect the situation below – the piano, the living space, the silhouette of the private staircase, the kitchen counter, and above the dining table are glass chandeliers – fruit.
