Lumírova Bike Store L27

The existing building dates back to the late 19th century and has been newly reconstructed. In the enlarged space of the former passageway, a store selling luxury bicycles "with a biography," i.e., used in the grand tours Giro d'Italia, Tour de France, and La Vuelta from the stables of Colnago, Pinarello, and De Rosa, has been prepared.

The interior is color-coordinated only in white and gold. It is divided into two parts:

• From the street, one enters the presentation area through a glass storefront with an LED neon logo L27. The interior is designed in a minimalist style. The floor is treated with white epoxy varnish, and the walls and ceiling are also painted white, all in high gloss and on a background of drywall executed in quality Q4. The lighting evokes the spokes of bicycle rims and is custom made from brass tubes installed across the entire ceiling area. The displayed bicycles are hung on original adjustable hangers on the walls, finished in white paint with brass screws.
• Behind the glass partition, there is an administrative space, and a kitchenette has been built onto the balcony leading to the courtyard. The floor is made of block paving treated with wax and brass dust, while the walls and ceiling are again painted white. The space is equipped with a multifunctional counter and a kitchen unit made of composite material Hi-Macs in white. The lighting is done similarly to the front part; the tubes are painted white. An original period glass chandelier is installed in the kitchenette.
