The Bottega Linka

The Bottega Linka
In the very heart of Prague, not far from Masarykovo nádraží, a new bistro from the La Collezione group, La Bottega Linka, has officially opened. The most luxurious Bottega yet, featuring the signature of Italian chef Riccardo Lucque, can be found at Havlíčkova Street No. 13 in a building known to Prague residents as the home of the first-republic delicatessen of Alois Linka. At La Bottega Linka, you can taste meats and fish prepared in the special X-Oven charcoal oven, a unique offering.
The open kitchen at La Bottega Linka is managed by chef Lukáš Sedláček, who moved to Linka from the sister restaurant La Bottega Tusarova. The menu features Italy-inspired dishes that adhere to three main principles connecting all La Bottega restaurants – freshness, quality, and sourcing from local suppliers. A comprehensive selection from the wine list, including other archived wines imported from Italy, is also a given.
The biggest attraction and highlight of the newly opened La Bottega Linka is the X-Oven charcoal oven. It reaches temperatures of up to 400°C and allows for the preparation of meats, fish, and vegetables while preserving authentic flavors and aromas, fully utilizing a unique, modern baking system.
In the raw, designer interior, created by the Qarta studio (which gained fame, among other projects, for the realization of Corso Karlín), modern industrial elements, such as hand-blown Bomma lights or an open shelving style bar, blend with traditional design that respects the history of the building.
