The project "Cultural Space in front of the ZUŠ in Pečky" represents a synergistic connection between architecture and art. The design was created based on the original task of the investor to enclose and transform the space in front of the art school. The originally disorganized area with no clearly defined use has been turned into an architectural-artistic piece that cannot be overlooked. The project includes a low L-shaped tribune, a portal, and other 3D elements that are colorfully and materially unified. These elements create an attractive space that serves as a relaxation area and simultaneously a small theater where students can rehearse and present performances for their parents and the general public. An open-air cinema is another of the many possibilities for utilizing this space. As part of the collaboration between architect Alžběta P. Brůhová and artist Adéla Součková, an original mosaic entitled "The Snake Meets the Zebra" was created. This barrier-free mosaic has become a favorite place for children's play and provides joy and entertainment for all generations of visitors. Architecture thus creates a figurative frame for a unique image. The creation of a functional and imaginative public space that serves as a cultural and creative center for the city's residents has been achieved through close and inspirational collaboration among many participants. The project "Cultural Space in front of the ZUŠ in Pečky" represents not only an aesthetically appealing and purposefully designed place but also creates a vibrant and dynamic public space that enhances the artistic and cultural identity of the city.
