Luís Seoane was a lithographer and artist, born in 1910 in Argentina of Galician immigrants. After the Spanish Civil War, upon returning to A Coruña, he became a leading figure within of the movement to revive Galician culture. In designing a museum that represents the figure of Luís Seoane, Spanish architects CREUSeCARRASCO have seized the keys of the existing building and its surroundings in order to define the new goal: to create a suitable site for exhibition space and establish a close link between this and the public space of the city, exploiting and recovering the historical traces that still persist.
